With 5 million young people currently studying abroad, Student.com set out to help those students find and secure their perfect homes. During my time, we scaled from 40 to 200 employees worldwide and offered support in 15+ languages. As a founding member Student.com North America, I touched multiple functions including Business Development, Product, and Growth Marketing.
As part of a scrappy expansion team, I built new markets from scratch and helped recruit over 1,200 properties to the platform in less than one year. I oversaw all operations for Southeast US and LatAm, while splitting time between New York and London.
In addition to international expansion duties, I simultaneously led product development on our "Host" and "List Your Property" feature set. With internal stakeholders, I crafted the product vision and supervised the release of our private beta.
